William "Billy" Maximoff is a supporting character in the 2021 TV series WandaVision, and the Deuteragonist of it 2024 spin-off/sequel Agatha All Along.
Creating from Wanda Chaos Magic. Him and Tommy existent is tied to the Hex. He was though to cease to exist alongside Hex with his brother and father Vision when Wanda take down the Hex to free Westview from her control. Causing Wanda to be manipulate by Darkhold and by extension Chthon to steal alternate version of them form other Wanda in Multiverse. When Wanda realize her alternate kid fear her and was told by her alternate self that she will take care of them. Wanda abandoned her goal and Destroy Darkhold castle along with all Darkhold in Multiverse, killing herself in the process.
However, it was reveal that he's actually survive Hex taking down by take over a dead body of a Jewish boy living at Eastview name William Kaplan. Losing all memory in the process and doesn't inheritage memory of his host body. He set out to find out his true origins.
He is portrayed as a kid by Baylen Bielitz and Julian Hilliard in WandaVision, and by Joe Locke in Agatha All Along.

What Do People Like About Him?[]
- Fans like Julian Hilliard acting. Even those who don't think he's attractive or even find him ugly don't mind it as he acts well.
- Fans like the comics accurate costume in Halloween episode of him and his family.
- Him and his brother characters is consider to be an important part of Wanda developement and motivations.
- His host Jewish heritage is consider well adopt.
- Fans like the tone and story telling of episode "Family by thy side" which is dedicate to his character.
- Fans like his changing interaction with Agatha Harkness. From idolizing to hate to sympathizing her in the end.
- Fans like his comic accurate costume that appear when he come to save Agatha from Rio.
- Fans notice the detail that his costume has X-Men logo, hinting the potential of the twins or atleast Tommy being mutants (Although in comics the twins are curently threat as human after Wanda retcon not to be mutants). Making fans happy that X-Men will join the MCU soon after Multiverse Saga.
- Fans like the pararell of him and Wanda. Such as having similar powers, emotional impulse, and their walk of shame away from Westview citizens.
- Despite not even introduce in MCU yet. Some already hope MCU will give him comics accurate boyfriend sooner.

- Some hardcore fans doesn't like Joe Locke as a new actor after Julian Hilliard for various reasons.
- Marvel choose to pioritize casting Jewish actor over gay actor. Make some fans accused Marvel for Jewish erasure. (Eventhough most American Jews look indistinguishable from non Jews-Caucasian.)
- Some considers Joe locke face doesn't really fit Wiccan face. Some even call him ugly. Though this is a very minor criticism.
- Many don't like that Marvel probably choose him as an actor to bait Heartstopper/Yaoi fans to watch the show.
- Some fans lament the fact that current age Julian Hilliard would make a better casting for age up Billy. Compare to the actual age of the actors and actress in MCU adaptation of Young Avengers/Champion characters that are too olds.
- Some people doesn't like the fact that William Maximoff take over dead William Kaplan body, prefer to had him Reincarnated through Time Travel like in comics, which is prove possible in MCU through Ms. Marvel show has a case of Bootstrap Paradox. (They ignore the fact that it would be stupidly complicate for no reason than being comic accurate.)
- Some didn't like the fact that his relation with Mephisto was remove in MCU adaptation.
- He using another teenager body to date another teenager boy while he himself is actually 3 years old. It can be seen as pervert and violation of original body owner consent,
- Him using Reddit in his investigation can be see as stupid.
- Some comic fans dislike how he is made to be more overtly effeminate and camp than his original counterpart, who, while certainly not campier and feminine attributes, is an example of a gay man who's fairly neutral in terms of balancing femininity and masculinity. This makes MCU Billy come across as stereotypically gay.
- Him guilt trip Agatha to sacrifice her life to Rio after she abandoned him seemingly without remorse, despite just say he volunteer to be the one to go with Rio less than a minute is very jerkish. Althought to be fair, it could be Agatha trick him to sacrifice himself for her by faking being selfless.
- Him creating Witches Road can be seen as waste potential of comics sorce material where Witches Road is an actual permament dimension. Simply to make Billy look powerful.
- Him and his brother coming back basically meant scarlet witch did all of that stuffand (presumably) killed herself in multiverse of madness for nothing. Making Multiverse of Madness even more pointless movie.
- Some even go as far to insist that they are fake kids and shouldn't be return despite comics source material say otherwise. Some of his character hate is tied to Wanda hate for her crimes in MCU (sometimes even comics crimes).
