I know he is on the Scrappy Wiki but I have doubts he can even be considered an Scrappy since he has actual defenders and fans due to him being an Fan Favorite who would’ve been an EDH if not for having enough reasons here which I sill get into here
What Is The Work?
Transformers: The Movie is an movie based on the Transformers Cartoon that ran from 1984 to 1986. It features the Autobots going up against the planet eater Unicron with the death of Optimus Prime and Megatron rebuilt into Galvatron where it feature Hot Rod stepping up into becoming Rodimus Prime and making friends along the way too like Wheelie, The Junkions and Quintessons.
Who Is He?
Wreck-Gar is the leader of the Cybetronians Junkions on the planet Junk where he originally had an minor antagonistic role in the movie and "The Big Broadcast of 2006" where he would be an reoccurring ally of the Autobots throughout the 3rd Season of the G1 Cartoon.
What Makes Him Base-Breaking?
In General
Despite the negative points on his Scrappy Page there were factors left out like there were some positives about him and a bit outdated like him having defenders and fans who actually like him here as an fan favorite here to balance out the hate he has here. Not blaming everyone or anything to he rude or anything just pointing out everyone can make mistakes here at times lol.
Why He is Hated
So his points of being Scrappy on his page is is the TV Talk quoting TV Talk , Wa-Wa annoying & creepy, being unable to repair Prime despite fixing Magnus while quoting Leonard McCoy on it and the Bad Animation. The last two is just lazy writing and the Animation & featuring him and the Junkions not do too much to effect his likability or effecting the show since G1 Cartoon has many plotholes at tikes due to varying on writing and mostly the movie bombing.
However some those are still valid for his haters however which.
- Some Fans fidning TV Quotes Annoying and his voice especially with the "Wa-Wa" creepy and unsettling.
- Maybe featuring them a lot being reason why the Cartoon ended early is minor at best.
- Some find it annoying he can't repair and revive Optimus despite being able to do it to Magnus even though plothole is too obvious since the G1 Cartoon is full of them here.
- The stereotype and accuracy of representation of people watching too much TV can still be offensive some people.
Why Is He Loved?
He has enough defenders and fans since he considered an fan favorite especially with the Studio 86 coming releasing.
Those who like him consider him an fan favorite and the reasons that they like him as one are:
- People like Eric Idle and Tony Prope's (maybe not much as the former but latter in his own right here) voice performances for those who don't find his voice creepy and/or annoying while also seeing his "Wa-Wa" likes memorable for those who also don't find it creepy and/or annoying here.
- Some like his design and characterization having different unique personality from other Transformers with TV Culture. Especially with the Festival and Party he and the Junkions throwing in the 86 movie being memorial. Including his comedic moments too.
- His fans who don't find TV Talk annoying find him quoting stuff from pop culture quite memorable and iconic what makes him likable to them here.
- People liked his Studio Series 86 Toy.
- There Memes about him and the Junkions would speak Memes if he was put in an modern show can be funny and ironic since it likely accurate here.
My thoughts?
Yeah he is too liked to be an Scrappy since he is considered an fan favorite to some while still having some vocal hate that is enough to stop him from being an EDH despite some wanting to see more of him in recent times.

I say a mid to big yes as Wreck-Gar has enough fans and defenders since he is fan favorite for his voice done by Eric Idle and Tony Prope, TV-Talk quotes being memorable, personality, design, comedic moments, Meme and etc with some wanting him to return but to some find those find those traits annoying, creepy or unlikable which stops him from being an EDH
