Addressing the Batman129 situation + Self-Demotion Post: Kodikos

Hello, everyone, so... I wanted to make this post because there's been alot of drama circulating around me lately and it's probably no secret I've become one of the most controversial users in these communities. I myself am tired of these back and forths and so are other people probably. Alot of people were asking for a resolution to all this so this is the best thing I can think of (no idea how this will go). Now this blog is mainly to address two things.

First, I am wanting to speak about the Batman129 drama from the other night and addressing it in a neutral perspective. Right off the bat, I am sorry for letting this drama be bought onto this wiki in the first place and escalating it myself.

Secondly, this is a demotion post for my self, …

BBC Proposal: Thanos (Squid Game)

Note: REJECTED

WELCOME BACK MAH FRIENDS!!! Since there have been multiple debates (and deleted polls, lol) about where he should scale, I felt this was necessary to discuss and decide where he belongs, since the character is very controversial, but possibly for intended reasons.

Please read this proposal carefully before you vote. This case is very confusing.

  • 1 What's the work and who is Thanos?
  • 2 What do people like about him?
  • 3 What do people dislike about him?
    • 3.1 Self-insert for drug user
    • 3.2 Feeling out of place
  • 4 Links
  • 5 Verdict

' is a South Korean Netflix series where a group of rich VIPs found a secret organization of deadly children games for money to escape their debts. Thanos is a major antagonist of its second season and a player/famous rapper wh…

BBC Removal: Bryce Walker

Hello all! Welcome to my first ever discussion on this system I created (sorry for showing up so late to my own party lol)! Today I wanted to discuss Bryce Walker and why he might not count. I expect this to be divided so I'm fine with any answer as long as it shows valid research. Bryce had a Scrappy page before but it was deleted by an admin without any explanation other than "Not a Scrappy". After this, we kind of just assumed Bryce Walker was Base Breaking, so kind of just roled with it. But then, I bought up Bryce on the Discord server and multiple users seem to be favoring Bryce being a Scrappy so... here we are.

Anyone how knows me knows I have an absolute petty hatred for the show 13 Reasons Why, a terrible Netflix Drama that should …

Criteria Update: Optional Proposal System

So, little update to the criteria, I had this idea and discussed with other users + Smilelyhermit and decided this would be best. Many users here are seeming to have trouble understanding the criteria for what counts as Base Breaking. Also many discussion posts seem to get ignored, leading to many candidates not getting a proper discussion... so I decided it would be best to implement an optional proposal system.

  • 1 What is a proposal?
  • 2 When to use a proposal?
  • 3 Expectations for a proposal
  • 4 Additional Info
  • 5 Conclusion

If you want to make a community discussion on whether a character counts or not, there will be a proposal system to decide, where users can upvote or downvote (or just leave thoughts without voting) to determine the character's status.…

Rules for "disliking" a character

Thought I would make a quick announcement due to recent problems with this wiki. I'm noticing a recurring theme on this wiki where pages list intended reasons that characters are disliked, when this wiki is supposed to be about criticizing characters from a writing standpoint and how they are perceived, not whether the character is meant to be likable or not.

Another thing I'm noticing is pages for characters who are simply complex, like villains who are extremely vile but have sympathetic qualities, which some people seem to think automatically means base breaking.

People seem to be stretching the criteria a bit so might be best to officially make a post here. Now let me give some examples of what does and doesn't count as reasons to "dislike…
