Tsumugi Shirogane is the main antagonist of the video game Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, titled the Ultimate Cosplayer.
She is voiced by Mikako Komatsu in the original Japanese version and Dorothy Elias-Fahn in the English dub.

What Do People Like About Her?[]
- Despite her being self-described as plain, she has a rather pretty design.
- Due to her references to other media, she tends to be perceived as rather funny.
- Her voice acting is pretty well done, especially in the original Japanese version.
- Her talent is rather flashy, with her flawlessly mimicking other characters' voices and appearances.
- She is the first Mastermind in the series who was directly among the participants, instead of being someone the players and characters had never seen before the finale (like Junko or Izuru). This allows the player and characters to feel a real sense of betrayal.
- There's a lot of mystery to her character, due to how little is explained about her and her motivations. This has led to a lot of speculation and interest in her character, with theories ranging from her being brainwashed by Team Danganronpa to her having made up everything about the game's twist ending.
- In recent times, she's gotten a lot more defenders, especially from people who liked V3, as she's basically the mascot for the game's twist.
What Do People Hate About Her?[]
- She's irrelevant for a vast majority of the game in spite of dying near the end of the last chapter and her role as the main antagonist. In an entry which also happens to be the longest game in the franchise, making her irrelevancy stand out more than any other underutilized characters.
- Her detractors complain she's too similar to Junko, especially considering Tsumugi literally dresses as Junko during the final trial.
- Many people find her a bad mastermind due to how rushed her twist was. We get very little insight into her personality, and she's essentially a background character up until the very end, removing a lot of the impact of her twist, basically leaving her remembered as just "a twist villain" and little else.
- She's directly related to the controversial ending twist of the game, with its detractors often hating her by association.
- The way she constantly uses the word "Plain" or "Plainly" gets extremely annoying and repetitive.
- Her love suite event was creepy, considering in her fantasy, she sees Shuichi as her older brother, and falls in love with him. Considering she then proceeds to suck on his finger, many people see her as having some sort of fetish for incest, leading to many defenders of Korekiyo to attribute his incest to her writing it for her own twisted fantasies.
