What Do People Like About Him?[]

  • His theme song is pretty catchy and neatly sums up his character.
  • Many view his enigmatic presence increase his scare factor as it fits the eldritch aspect to the character.
  • His character design is genuinely terrifying, making him an outstanding and memorable figure in the realm of creepypasta lore.
  • As a villain, his abilities are impressive; he can teleport, grow tentacles, and perceive his surroundings despite lacking a face.
  • He is often compared to the Enderman from Minecraft and is known for his notable rivalry with other creepypasta characters, particularly Jeff the Killer.

What Do People Hate About Him?[]

  • Due to how his later depictions would eventually go far off the original Slender Man mythos, his backstory and abilities can be too vague or inconsistent, making it difficult for some to engage deeply with his mythos.
