Samantha "Sam" Manson is the deuteragonist of the TV series and nineteenth Nicktoon, Danny Phantom.
She is Danny Fenton's closest and best friend and eventual girlfriend in the series finale. Responsible for the accident in which Danny gains his powers, she is also one of the first few people to know about Danny's ghost identity. She is a self-proclaimed goth who is fascinated with the subliminal and nether worldly and is a very outspoken ultra-recyclo-vegetarian.
She was voiced by Grey DeLisle.

Why Do Some Some People Hate Her?[]
- She is very bossy and hypocritical in the eyes of many fans, usually as a means to push her agenda.
- She once force her Ultra-Recyclo Vegetarian diet on the entirety of Casper High without the consent (or even knowledge) of her peers, even in the face of a ghost attack, protesting a completely voluntary beauty contest (viewing it as sexist), and using Danny's powers for her own gain despite telling him he should be selfless with them.
