What do I want? I want... I want the truth! I want justice! I want...!
~ Powerplex demanding justice for the death of his sister and niece.

Scott Duval, also known as Powerplex, is a supporting antagonist in Invincible.

He is a villain with the power to manipulate and produce electricity. He hates invincible with a passion, as he believes invincible caused the deaths of his sister and niece in Invincible’s fight against Omni-Man.

He is voiced by Aaron Paul.

What Makes Him a Base Breaking Character?[]

What Do People Like About Him?[]

  • Some people view Powerplex as a tragic character with a compelling story about revenge while being severely traumatized by the deaths of his sister and niece.
  • His mental issues are viewed as very realistic, as the show perfectly delivers his delusional behavior. As he always blaming and even sabotaging Invincible’s life to fulfill what powerplex’s said, “justice”.
  • Aaron Paul, (the actor who voices him) delivers a good performance of the character.

What Do People Hate About Him?[]

  • He chooses to enact his revenge on Mark, despite Omni-Man being the reason he lost his family, yet still decides to blame invincible.
  • Despite an abundant amount of evidence that Invincible is also a victim of Omni-Man’s fight, he simply chooses to turn a deaf ear and pretend it is all Invincible’s fault, making him quite ignorant.
  • He uses his wife and child as a bait to lure Invincible to come and fight him. This is already an extremely idiotic plan as he could accidentally hurt or even kill his family, which the latter does end up happening.
  • Some also felt that Powerplex’s actions for revenge, (like shouting on the street to fight invincible and as mentioned above, using his family as bait to lure invincible) were so dumb that Invincible could have ignored him or at least, called the Global Defense Agency to send other heroes to stop him.
