Muzan Kibutsuji is the main antagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
He was voiced by Toshihiko Seki, while Greg Chun voices him in the English dub.

What Do People Like About Him?[]
- He has a cool and badass character design, with an outfit similar to Michael Jackson.
- There is popular and also funny joke in fandom refering to Muzan looking like famous singer Michael Jackson, those making him not intentionaly but still funny. Also due to Muzan's past lives, many people jokes that one of his past live is being Michael Jackson himself.
- He is a competent fighter with strong demon ability, making him a formidable foe to demon slayers.
- He has an menacing aura and terrifying presence whenever he's on-screen or even just being mentioned, making him very scary and cool as the Big Bad.
- Both of his voice actor Toshihiko Seki and Greg Chun give a wonderful job voicing his character, with their cold and deep voice giving him a strong shade of Evil-is-cool.
- He is liked by his fans for being the polar opposite of Tanjiro, his nemesis, as Tanjiro is a kind-hearted Pure Good hero while Muzan is a loathsome Pure Evil villain.
- Due to how vile and reprehensible Muzan is, it's easy for the audience to root for Tanjiro and other heroes to kill him. The moment he is finally defeated by the heroes is one of the most satisfying moments in the series.
What Do People Hate About Him?[]
- There are people who found his final fight with the Demon Slayers underwhelming as he lacked the unique powers that the Upper Ranks and even some of the Lower Ranks had. There were people who also found his final form goofy (he transforms into a giant baby) though others say it suits his character.
- There are also people who find him to be an uninteresting two-dimensional villain. Many other villains are given sympathetic backstories that humanize them and explain their motives, but Muzan's sole motive is just to simply seek power to get immortal and is only portrayed evil through and through.
