Pickles Goodman, better known as Mr. Pickles is the titular main protagonist of the Adult Swim animated TV series of the same name.
He was voiced by Dave Stewart.

What Do People Like About Him?[]
- Despite his demonic nature, Mr. Pickles is extremely loyal and protective of young Tommy Goodman and his family to his fans. He frequently eliminates dangerous threats that could harm Tommy, such as sexual predators and criminals, functioning as a kind of morally ambiguous "anti-hero" for his fans.
- Many of his fans see Mr. Pickles' actions as an exaggerated satire of modern society, exposing hypocrisy, corruption and immoral behavior in a grotesque and absurd way. This attracts viewers who appreciate dark humor with a critical subtext.
- Fans believe his design is good compared to most of the characters in the show.
What Do People Hate About Him?[]
- He is criticized for his extreme graphic violence, which includes mutilations, torture and grotesque murders. Many detractors consider it gratuitous and gimmicky, with no clear narrative purpose, just to shock the audience, causing some to consider it made by a frustrated 13-year-old.
- He frequently ridicules and punishes his grandfather, the only one who recognizes his true demonic nature. This dynamic, despite playing for comedy, is seen by its detractors as repetitive and cruel, especially because the grandfather is constantly discredited by the family.
- Despite occasionally punishing "bad people", he is widely perceived by his detractors as a character with no clear moral compass, committing atrocities without significant justification beyond shock.
- His story and depth were basically left aside, in the last episode when Henry goes with the sheriff to the island, they find Mr. Pickles' secrets, but when the grandfather goes to read the books, the show simply focuses on the sheriff sleeping in the middle, and makes his entire story simply be left unfinished.
- Some folks were left frustrated that the rest of the Goodman family and town never found out the truth about Mr. Pickles.
