Misa Amane is the tritagonist in the anime/manga Death Note. She is known to be The Second Kira and is the lover of Light Yagami and is willing to help him kill criminals. She witnessed her parents getting murdered right in front of her face. After the murderer of her parents died by Kira, she became a Kira supporter.
Misa is known to be a well known famous model.

What Do People Like About Her?[]
- She has a very bubbly personality and is a very funny comic relief character with many fans.
- Since she is a model, she has a great sense in fashion, making fans love her style.
- Misa's actions in praising Kira is pretty understandable. She witnessed her parents die in front of her and was had to witness a creepy stalker who had a knife with him. After Misa rejected the stalker, he tries to kill her. However, a Shinigami named Gelus saved her life last second.
- Misa is extremely loyal to Light and never betrayed him despite of him using her. She was willing help him with his plan to eliminate all criminals in this world.
- While she appears to be dimwitted, fans note she is actually much smarter than other characters think she is and appears to be useful in situations, and because of this she is defended by her devotees who consider her non-pointless.
- She was able to find out that Light was Kira with the Shinigami Eyes.
- She had a smart plan with the video tapes to send to Sakura TV claiming to be Kira.
- She was able to make a plan so she can trick Kiyomi Higuchi into revealing himself to be Kira.
- Many fans feel really bad and feel sympathy for her since she got manipulated by Light. She really admired and loved Light since he was such an important figure in her life.
What Do People Hate About Her?[]
- Her bubbly personality and dimwitted acts can make her very dislikable, which can make detractors think she's annoying.
- Detractors believe that she is way too obsessed with Light that she got in Light's way multiple times and she doesn't care about the people who actually care about her.
- She also stalked Light and forced him to be in a relationship.
- After Rem died while sacrificing her life to save Misa from dying and was very loyal and protective over her, Misa didn't even care that she died since she was more focused on Light.
- While she has the Shinigami Eyes, that's the only thing she is mostly useful for. Other than that, she doesn't do much useful in the plot, making detractors believe she is useless to the plot.
- Detractors even argue that Misa got herself into being manipulated by Light since she said that she didn't really cared if Light used her.
- While she was manipulated by Light, she very much has no problem with committing mass murder in the first place, and her initial crimes had her commit them completely of her own volition with zero input from Light, making her come off as too vile to be sympathetic for some audiences.
