Mikan Tsumiki is a character in the video game Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, titled the Ultimate Nurse.
She is voiced by Ai Kayano in the original Japanese version and Stephanie Sheh in the English dub.

- Fans enjoyed her voice actresses' soft-spoken performances, which came off as cute. In the third class trial, her voice sometimes cracks to a more eerie and darker tone which comes off as cool. In fact, her yapping during the third class trial was not very annoying to hear.
- Her design is rather interesting, especially with her unique hair.
- She's a rather kind person, all things considered.
- She's fairly easy to sympathize with considering how horribly she was mistreated in the past and present.
- Many haters of Hiyoko Saionji feel bad for her considering she's the main target of Hiyoko's abuse.
- Her talent is incredibly useful and her past makes sense why she developed it in the first place.
- He has many ships which fans enjoy, including with Hajime, Ibuki, Ultimate Imposter, Ryota or Seiko, with the former two being especially popular.

- Some people consider her writing poor. She's a pretty generic "shy girl" who doesn't do much to innovate or be unique besides when she was actually brainwashed.
- During the third case, her being the culprit is often agreed to be a pretty bad twist, especially considering she only did it not because of any interesting reason, but just because she was brainwashed by the Despair Disease.
- Her case is widely considered amongst the worst in the franchise, mainly because she couldn't have feasibly done everything she did in such a short time frame, especially considering how far she'd have to run.
- Fans of Hiyoko dislike the fact Mikan killed her before she could actually become a more complex character, especially considering it wasn't out of revenge but rather simply because Hiyoko was a witness.
- There's a lot of complaint about all the sexualization she receives, considering she's an abuse victim who (considering her bullies forced her to strip down) likely was harmed sexually as well, making it come off as insensitive and offensive.
