What Makes Her a Base Breaking Character?[]

What Do People Like About Her?[]

  • She defies gender roles by being a hard working businesswoman and having a stay at home husband who looks after the kids. The few fans of the show call her a "girlboss".
  • She is also very brave and strong, in "Stinkin' Johnny" she hopped into a wrestling ring just to save her son from a wrestler and defeated the man who was three times her size after her dog, daughters, and husband tried and failed to do so.
  • She is more loving and patient towards Johnny than some other characters can be, she also genuinely cares about his wellbeing.
  • She can be the voice of reason at times, in "My Dinner With Johnny", she scolds her son and husband for their childish dinner dare and manages to help them make up and have a decent time at the dinner table.

What Do People Hate About Her?[]

  • She can take her protectiveness way too far, in "Johnny Goes Nuts", she constantly chases Johnny trying to stop him from racing with squirrels, putting him into almost as much danger as he would be in if she just let him join the race.
  • Sometimes she can be overbearing towards her own husband, making him do stuff he dislikes such as making him watch movies he hates in "Johnny's New Baby Sisters", making him rub her feet and maybe she even cries to get what she wants from him in "Saturday Night's Alright for Johnny". She's at her worst in this category in "Papa Johnny", constantly yelling at Johnny (who she thinks is Hugh since he swapped bodies with him) to bake cupcakes, unclog the toilet, and get a rabid raccoon out of the dishwasher, Johnny even points out that she takes advantage of Hugh.
  • Also in "Papa Johnny" she yells at her kids as well, especially Susan who she says "wouldn't last an hour" in her shoes. This controdicts "My Dinner With Johnny" where she's against making childish dares against one's kids.
  • In "Johnny's BFF" she constantly sets Johnny up to play with a bunch of kids, including his biggest bullies Bumper and Sissy, even after she saw them be violent towards him. This isn't because she thinks he's lonely deep down or because being more social would be good for him. It's because she wants a "normal boy".
  • In the reboot she got worse, in "Johnny's New Baby Brother" she starts to love the new baby robot more than her real son Johnny and she agrees with Hugh that he should go to military school if he keeps misbehaving. She also does nothing when her husband and daughters literally imprison Johnny in his room.
    • She also got so frustrated when Johnny had a hair out of place during the family photo, she was about to hit his head with a hammer. Even Hugh was disturbed by this and he had to stop her.
