Juvia Lockser is a supporting protagonist in the anime/manga Fairy Tail. She is a former S-Class Wizard from the Phantom Lord guild, and was apart of the Element 4. After Phantom Lord got disbanded, she becomes a member of Fairy Tail. When fighting Gray Fullbuster, she develops feeling for him. When she was young, it would always rain wherever she goes, making other people say that it's gloomy whenever she's around because it's always raining. After being defeated by Gray, the sky becomes clear and is no longer raining.

- Many fans think Juvia one of the funniest characters within the series, having many laughable scenes.
- Fans like that Juvia has a strong heart and really cares about all of the members of Fairy Tail more than herself. This makes fans appericate her friendships with the other guild members.
- She is good friends with Gajeel since the both of them were S-Class Wizards in the Phantom Lord. She suggested Gajeel to join Fairy Tail after their former guild got disbanded.
- She decides to sacrifice herself then fight Cana in Fried's runes during the Battle of Fairy Tail so she won't get to hurt Cana.
- Despite Lucy being a love rival to her, she decides to be Lucy's friend, since Lucy was the first woman to treat her with kindness. She uses Unison Raid to take down Vidaldus.
- In Tartaros, she protects Laxus from a fiery attack.
- She also has a good friendship with Lisanna, saying that she is the toughest girl she knows.
- Juvia has fights and scenes that are considered to be cool, and is actually pretty strong. She may not show her power so much, but when she does, its very awesome.
- Fans think her abilities are pretty cool, as she can transform her whole body and clothes into water.
- Juvia is very tragic, no one would want to ever be with her because everywhere she went it was raining. This caused breakups and the comment of how gloomy it was outside. Phantom Lorde were the only people who ever accepted Juvia. This could also be another reason of why Juvia is highly in love with Gray since he saved her from falling to death and was the reason it stopped raining everytime she was around, of which makes her sympathetic to fans.

- Most of Juvia's personality revolves around obsessing over Gray in a crazy level, which makes detractors think her character to be creepy and annoying, especially since she was introduced as a strong villain with cool abilities and an S-Class Wizard.
- Going as far that she sees anyone that's close to Gray as a rival.
- Her obsession with Gray can even make her not do anything for herself without him involved.
- In the Hidden event in the Grand Magic Games, she gets so distracted by so many Gray's which made her the first person to lose a point.
- When fighting in the Naval Battle in the Grand Magic Games, she gets distracted by Gray, even though that event is perfect for her since it was in the water.
- Juvia is kinda a hypocrite too, as she is creeped and annoyed when Lyon's showed love to her, even though she does the same thing to Gray but much creepier.
- As her powers are super cool, detractors believed that her character was wasted and has lost all of her importance of her character before joining Fairy Tail.
