Joseph "JoJo" Joestar is the titular deuteragonist of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure franchise.
He served as the titular main protagonist of Part II: Battle Tendency, the titular deuteragonist of Part III: Stardust Crusaders, and a supporting protagonist of Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable.
He's the son of George Joestar II and Lisa Lisa, and the grandson of Jonathan and Erina Joestar. He later becomes the husband of Suzi Q, the father of Holly Kujo, the grandfather of Jotaro Kujo, and the illegitimate father of Josuke Higashikata.

What Do People Like About Him?[]
- His characterization of "Jerk with a heart of gold" is really entertaining, which contrasts the previous protagonist Jonathan, a seriously good Pure Good Hero, making many fans find him interesting.
- He has tons of comedic moments, especially with his mischievous and jerkish attitude, making one of the funniest characters in the franchise.
- He has many iconic scenes that become memes and are well-received by many JoJo fans, such as "Your next line is...", "Run for your lives!" or disguise as a woman in front of some German soldiers.
- He is very loyal and protective to his families and allies.
- He shows brilliant battle tactics when facing enemies, using lots of smart tricks to win, making his fights entertaining to watch.
- Although he constantly being a cheater in battle, he shows a strong sense of honor, would respect his opponents, especially to Wamuu.
What Do People Hate About Him?[]
- He cheated on his wife with Tomoko Higashikata and he eventually decides to abandon Tomoko, which many fans feel unacceptable, especially considering he and Suzi Q is shown to be a loving couple in Part 2 and Part 3, making fans who enjoyed this relationship dislike him more.
- Detractors also think his cheating with Tomoko is forced and comes out of nowhere, serving as a plot device to introduce Josuke as the new main protagonist.
- While his jerkish attitude is mainly played for comedic effects, some of his jerkish moments can come across excessive and annoying, especially when he joked about the sexual relationship about his grandmother Erina and Speedwagon, as well as peeping Lisa Lisa bathing.
- Despite being a brilliant trickster in Part 2, he becomes much less intelligent and competent in Part 3 and Part 4, often loses unsatisfyingly to enemies (however this is justifiable since he becomes older).
