Inosuke Hashibira is one of the major characters from the anime/manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is apart of the Demon Slayer Corps and uses his self-taught sword style Beast Breathing. He is often shown to travel with Tanjiro Kamado and Zenitsu Agatsuma throughout his journey.
He was raised by boars when he was just a baby due to his mother getting devoured by a powerful demon from the Twelve Kizuki, taking place as the Upper Two named Doma.
What Makes Him a Base Breaking Character?[]
What Do People Like About Him?[]
- Inosuke is considered by his fans to be a very fun and entertaining character to watch. Many of them find his aggressive and short-tempered personality to be very funny. His arguments with Aoi can be considered to be funny as well.
- He is shown to have a good amount of cool moments within the series. He is shown to be intelligent during battle, has the ability to use two swords, and is overall very skilled with his Beast Breathing.
- Fans feel sympathy for him during to his backstory. He was raised by his mother due to his father being abusive, so he and his mother escaped together. One day, his mother was devoured by Doma. In order to save Inosuke, she had to drop him into the river below the cliff, which he was later discovered by boars.
- He falls for another demon slayer named Aoi, and it's a healthy relationship at that.
What Do People Hate About Him?[]
- Detractors find his character to be very annoying and irritating due to his loud personality. Detractors also tend to find his very to be very irritating and granting.
- Despite being a comic relief character, detractors believe that he doesn't contribute much into the story besides being a comic relief character.
- His backstory was introduced in the last arc. Detractors believe that his backstory came too late and should've have the chance to come sooner.
