The Incidentals, also known as Bikini Bottomites, are supporting characters in the Nickelodeon series SpongeBob SquarePants.
They are voiced by Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, Doug Lawrence, Dee Bradley Baker, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Jill Talley, Sirena Irwin, and Carolyn Lawrence.

- They have spawned a good amount of internet memes that are considered to be some of the most iconic memes in the entire series, especially the "My Leg!" running gag.
- They can be quite helpful at times when it's needed, such as in the episode "Band Geeks", where they alongside the rest of the band try to make Squidward's band the best band in Bikini Bottom.
- Their character designs are considered good by fans.
What Do People Hate About Them?[]
- Arguably the biggest criticism surrounding them as characters is that they are huge jerks in most of, if not, every single one of their appearances, as they rarely show gratefulness or respect to the main characters. Even the nicer incidentals like Scooter and Norma can be rude to others at times. While this wouldn't be a problem as jerkish characters like Squidward and Bubble Bass are well-liked, they often have redeeming qualities or are simply considered funny type of jerks. The incidentals, on the other hand, come across as unlikable and mean jerks who have little dimension.
- In the episode "Patty Hype", they told Mr. Krabs they wanted a refund in an angry way and then proceeds to chasing him when it wasn't his fault, Granted, Mr. Krabs is also a jerk, but that's not an excuse.
- In the episode "Bubble Buddy", they tried to pop Bubble Buddy because they thought he did bad things to them.
- In the episode "Squirrel Jokes", they made fun of Sandy Cheeks and the squirrel species in general, which could be seen as the equivalent to racism, with many of them not apologizing to her for that.
- In the episode,"Grandma's Kisses", they alongside Squidward kept laughing at SpongeBob for having a kiss mark on his face.
- In the episode "The Bully", they blamed an old man for wanting to kick SpongeBob's butt.
- In the episode "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy IV", they tried to hurt SpongeBob because he was the one who shrunk them.
- In the episode "As Seen on TV", they yelled at SpongeBob for not being on time for work.
- In the episode "No Weenies Allowed", Tom got angry at SpongeBob for ruining his potato salad.
- In the episode "Have You Seen This Snail?", Evelyn got angry at Squidward and Mr. Krabs because her krabby patty had tears on it.
- In the episode "The Sponge Who Could Fly", they constantly harassed SpongeBob for trying to fly and at one point chased him off a cliff. When he did learn how to fly, not only did they never apologize for how they treated him, they acted like he had some obligation to do everything they were to lazy to do. They also showed zero remorse when they thought Old Man Jenkins had killed him.
- In the episode "Good Neighbors", they got furious at Squidward just because they thought Squidward destroyed their city when it wasn't his fault.
- In numerous episodes, they form an angry mob. While this is justified on some occasions, this isn’t really the case most of the time.
- Although their voice actors do good jobs voicing them, it can get extremely annoying at times, especially considering a lot of their dialogue consists of yelling and screaming that is too much for detractors to handle.
