Hunter Page, also known as The Player is a character in the fanon Mexican animated Total Drama YouTube series Disventure Camp (Season 2). He was a member of the Green Team and placed 4th in his first season. He also is one of the contestants to return in Disventure Camp All-Stars as a member of the Magenta Team. However, he does place lower than his previous season, placing 15th.

He is voiced by Daniel Salas in Spanish, James Enwright in the English dub, and Yaki in the Polish dub.

What Makes Him a Base Breaking Character?

What Do People Like About Him?

• Hunter has become a fairly liked for his nice guy with a relatable personality and with his relationship with Tess and Ally.
• Of how he handles the love triangle with Tess and Ally, fans claim that he's only a socially awkward guy who is only trying his best (an example being keeping Tess's pills before they were destroyed) since he didn't have much experience in dating before meeting Tess and Ally. Fans by the finale believed that his character was redeemed as it explains his backstory of how he didn't have many friends before the show.
• By the time of All Stars, fans believe that Hunter had more of a personality and improved his character, making him more enjoyable to watch than compared to season 2 of having a bland personality and of being a gary sue harem protagonist. Fans even found his complaining about Fiore to be very funny and justifiable considering that Fiore is the weakest member of the team.
• In spite of the initial impression at the start of All-Stars, fans appreciate that he has moments of being a genuinely good boyfriend to Ally.
• Fans find him to be fairly good-looking.

What Do People Hate About Him?

• Detractors found his character and the plot with the love to be very boring. Detractors found his personality to be rather uninteresting and bland. This case doesn't help when he won immunity four times in a row during merge, believing that he shouldn't have so much luck and it being rather unfair.
• The other half of the fanbase believes that he's more insensitive and undeserving for the girls love and going with many moments of being unintentionally unsympathetic that makes it hard to feel sympathy for him even after his backstory.
  • The most common example of being when he was keeping Tess's pills before they got destroyed. This action was portrayed of being good but instead comes off more as creepy for the violation of her privacy.
• With his constant complaining with Fiore through most of his time in All Stars, detractors believe that his entire personality revolves around hating Fiore and the fact that it got annoying very fast, even if it did cause him to lose. Another compliant as to his characterization in All-Stars is also taking a level in jerkass and his constant arguing with Ally. While this was intentional in attempt to make him less controversial by not coming off as a Gary Sue, detractors feel like that he lost his edge and felt out of character.
