Harold "Harry" Osborn is the overarching protagonist of Insomniac Games' Spider-Man video game series, serving as a minor protagonist in both the 2018 superhero video game Marvel's Spider-Man and its 2020 spin-off Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and the deuteragonist of its 2023 sequel Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Harry is the son of Oscorp's CEO and Mayor Norman Osborn, who had a genetic disease that unfortunately costed his mother's life, and a childhood friend of Peter Parker.

What Do People Like About Him?[]
- Harry Osborn has dropped the "stereotypical rich kid looking for his father's approval while bitter and resentful towards Peter" style his character tends to get in media, and is instead a much better, looking less for his dad's approval and has a very healthy friendship with Peter.
- He introduces Peter to the research stations, which have to completed to gain access to new suits and weapon upgrades.
- Some fans believe that Harry Osborn works as the symbiote's host for Venom storywise rather than adaption wise, because there was no room for Venom's main host, Eddie Brock to fit in this story without it being shoehorned in, and it sets stakes that Peter is trying to keep his best friend alive while the thing itself keeping Harry alive is an evil eldritch abomination and also has to save his best friend from the symbiote's influence.
What Do People Hate About Him?[]
- Fans don't like that Harry Osborn is this universe's Venom instead of Eddie Brock, due to the comics, the reason why Eddie and the symbiote became Venom because they were both had an irrational hatred to Peter Parker and Spider-Man and only attacked him, while here Harry doesn't have a personal vendetta against either and is in fact best friends both before and during his Venom-phase and it felt like Harry and the symbiote being called "Venom" came out of nowhere.
- This is the third time the player has to fight an Evil Former Friend as the final fight in the Insomniac-verse, with Peter's best friend, Harry Osborn this time. People are starting to think this type of storytelling is becoming overused in this game series.
- The final boss fight with Miles feels out of place, due to the two never even talking much in the game after they met at Coney Island, and as such they don't have any personal connection.
