Flora, Fauna and Merryweather are the supporting protagonists of Disney's 16th full-length animated feature, Sleeping Beauty. They are a trio of elderly fairies who are assigned to look after King Stefan and Queen Leah's daughter, Princess Aurora, from the clutches of their villainous nemesis, Maleficent.
In the original film, they were voiced by the late Verna Felton, the late Barbara Jo Allen, and the late Barbara Luddy. In modern media, they were voiced by Barbara Dirikson (who also voiced Queen Leah in Disney Princess Enchanted Tales: Follow Your Dreams), the late Russi Taylor, and Tress MacNeille, who also voiced Si and Am in Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp’s Adventure.

What Do People Like About Them?[]
- They are smart, competent and brave fairies who supply good magic to King Stefan's kingdom, as demonstrated when they bless Aurora good gifts of Beauty, Song and True Love's Kiss.
- Most fans praise them for their hard work in trying to keep Aurora safe from Maleficent's curse.
- Due to them taking the most screen time, some fans may consider them to be the true main heroes as they make careful plans to help Aurora and the kingdom.
- Even when they make mistakes at times, they figure out ways to fix the errors of their ways, as shown when they fully understand that the same man Aurora met in the woods was Prince Phillip, thanks to King Hubert's sleepy conversation with King Stefan.
- They assisted Prince Phillip to defeat Maleficent and free the entire kingdom from an endless sleeping curse, including Aurora, King Stefan, King Hubert and Queen Leah.
- Their critically acclaimed performances by Verna Felton, Barbara Jo Allen and Barbara Luddy help complimented their strong and determined personalities as characters.
What Do People Hate About Them?[]
- The biggest criticism surrounding them is that their detractors accuse them of being a Spotlight Stealing Squad, since they take much more screen time than everyone else and do nothing but pad the movie that they're mainly involved in with almost everything in the plot.
- Other people also pointed out that their recklessness and two mistakes only did more to jeopardize Aurora's life and Stefan's kingdom, as shown when Flora and Merryweather's petty argument about the color of Aurora's dress caused Diablo to reveal their location to Maleficent; as a result of Flora's mistake of giving Aurora some privacy, this caused Maleficent to trick Aurora into pricking her finger on the spinning wheel, much to the horror and disbelief of the Good Fairies.
- They suffered a horrible case of character derailment in Maleficent, where many consider their live-action counterparts to be inferiors to their original selves and agree that their roles as the Three Stooges don’t fit them at all.
