Ellie Parker is a major character in the Mexican animated web series Disventure Camp.

She is voiced by Ivanna Ochoa in Spanish, Rachel Glait in English, Nancy Khro in Italian, and Milena "akay" Andrukiewicz in Polish.

What Makes Her a Base Breaking Character?[]

What Do People Like About Her?[]

  • With her ways on wanting to do anything to win, fans found her character to be well written realistic in ways of winning and began to feel sympathy for her due to her troubled life by barely affording rent despite working two jobs.
  • Fans believe that her rant towards Jake in episode 11 was a well deserved call-out for Jake's actions and find it to be understandable.
  • Many fans adore her relationship with Gabby. She becomes friends and eventually becomes lovers with Gabby. Eventually in the final episode of Disventure Camp: All-Stars, she stands up to Riya and decides not to continue helping her during the final challenge, showing a willingness to stand up for herself.
  • While she did become more ruthless in All-Stars and making her antagonist role more explicit, many fans came to appreciate Ellie more in No Vacancy and said her character improved of where she realizes that she has valued friendships and how they are more important than finances.

What Do People Hate About Her?[]

  • She has been criticized for adopting an “anything to win” attitude, much like Riya. Examples of this include deciding to join the villains alliance, though this is justified to a small extent due to Tom (the former of which is her teammate) and Jake hating her.
  • Her detractors question whether she is a designated hero or a designated villain, though the fact that she joined the villain's alliance leans towards the latter statement. The fact she is portrayed as a neutral character makes fans question whether they should root for or against her, though there were people who did in fact root for her to win in the Season 1 finale.
  • She did decide to vote off fan favorite Lake early on in Allstars for selfish reasons, though she did not get away with it and did feel remorse for it, though not at first.
  • Fans question whether her rant towards Jake was justified or that she was being insensitive towards him, though the fact that she lost the challenge shortly afterwards and ended up on the chopping block leans towards the latter.
