Elizabeth Liones is one of the deuteragonist in the anime/manga series The Seven Deadly Sins. She got adopted by King Bartra Liones, and is the Third Princess of the Kingdom of Liones. It is later revealed that Elizabeth is a goddess that is related to Supreme Deity and got reincarnated 107 times due to the curse her and Meliodas have.
In order for the Holy Knights to stop taking control of the Kingdom of Liones, she decides to recruit the Seven Deadly Sins by herself so she hopes that they are able to help take the Kingdom of Liones back.

- Elizabeth has many fans that find her character to be cute because of her warm and polite personality. Fans also love her character design.
- Elizabeth is shown to be very kind and nurturing towards many people, and is willing to put herself in danger to protect those she cares about.
- Throughout the story, after learning about her past life of being a goddess, she is shown develop into a more independent woman and very helpful in fighting instead of being a damsel as from the start of the series.
- She also has incredible healing powers, which is shown to be very helpful in battle when someone is highly injured.
- Her fans also really love her relationship with Meliodas, they are both shown to be loyal and protective of one another, and because her backstory with the curse is actually very sad. She is a goddess, Elizabeth was reincarnated 106 times ever since the times of the Holy War. Each time she got reincarnated, she would be a human, meet Meliodas, fall in love with him, and later die.
What Do People Dislike About Her?[]
- She has detractors that believe that she is poorly written due to not doing much action in the story, who has no personality trait or character, expect just crying and screaming for Meliodas, and just being his love interest.
- She constantly says "Sir Meliodas" or "Meliodas Sama" throughout most of the series, which makes detractors easily annoyed.
- Another thing detractors find annoying about Elizabeth is that her voice is high pitched, so it doesn't help either way.
- She is constantly used for fanservice and is usually gets groped by Meliodas, doesn't help that she allows him grope her so she can show how much she missed him, which is uncomfortable since she's allowing him to sexually assault her.
- She was often critized for being The Load within the the beginning of the series, making detractors make her come across as useless.
- Because of the fanservice Meliodas gave her due to his perverted tendencies, detractors ended up disliking her and Meliodas being together.
- After creators of 7 Deadly Sins stopped to actually animated anime and instead use CGI, her design was drastically changed. Many people, even her fans consider this design change as horrible. Not to mention that many people thinks that this particular CGI looks very bad and cheap, being close to infamous Berserk's anime sequel
