He was a ruthless and crazed warlord who attempted to conquer the world by assembling a dragon army, which he would use to slaughter those that refused to submit him. He is the second archenemy of Hiccup and Toothless, as well as Stoick the Vast and Valka.

He was voiced by Djimon Hounsou in most of his appearances, while in Season 5 episode ''The Wings of War'', he was voiced by Hakeem Kae-Kazim.
