Taeko Yasuhiro, or Celestia Ludenberg is a character of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoic and its anime adaptation Danganronpa: The Animation. She has the title of the Ultimate Gambler, also having the nickname Queen of Liars due to all of her lying. She is shown to be a supporting character, until chapter 3, of where she was revealed as the murderer of Hifumi Yamada and Kiyotaka Ishimaru.

What Do People Like About Her?[]
- She got popular for being a very interesting character in the Danganronpa franchise with her mysterious personality, her ultimate talent being one of the best ones in the series, and her unique gothic character design.
- She has an accent in the English dub, which fans find it very unique to her character.
- She serves very high intelligence, so fans believe she would be a very competent killer since she could easily manipulate anyone.
- While her double kill was very disappointing, fans feel that her anime adaption was way more competent since it was handled better.
- She has fans that feel sympathy for her, she hated herself because she has a "loser's name", Taeko Yasuhiro, and was seen to be very plain.
- Her fans liked her breakdown during the 3rd trial since we got to see the side of Taeko since her accent was breaking. What fans also like is that she’s actually being herself instead of being someone she isn’t.
- Many of her fans really like her execution since it's shown to have depth behind her as a character. She wanted to live her life being important, which the execution does show that. She was imagining her death being burned alive since that's how she dreamed it to be, but than a fire truck came and ran over (which is a common way to die).
- Many fans love the voice performances of all three of her voice actresses (Hekiru Shiina, Marieve Herington, and Lindsay Seidel), giving her a lot of personality, vibrancy, and charm.
What Do People Hate About Her?[]
- Detractors feel that her being the culprit was completely obvious, which does lead disappointment to fans, showing how intelligent she was in the first two class trials, but instead became wasted potential.
- Detractors believed that chapter 3 has completely ruined her character and has one of the worst murder motives since her trial was very easy, and it definitely wasn’t her smartest move since it poorly planned, this also led to high disappointment is that she was shown to be very intelligent.
