Characters from franchises that used to be more disliked in the fanbase, some were even considered as Scrappies. However, their popularity increased over the years for becoming more likable but remain only as Base Breaking Characters since they still have detractors and/or are not popular enough to end up being an Ensemble Dark Horse (for supporting characters). These characters are usually considered to be "Rescued from the Scrappy Heap".

They are the polar opposites of Condemned by History. Which are characters who were more liked by the fanbase but ended up getting detractors as the years went on to the point, they are Base Breaking characters or even Scrappies.
