Tragic

Base Breaking Character who have suffered from some sort of tragedy during their lifetime. Tragic backstories can often come off as sympathetic, but in some cases, sympathetic backstories don't always make a character likable.

Because of what happened to them, they begin to act a certain way because of the influences and events that happened, which most if the time, they change for the worse (e.g. Hiyoko Saionji, The Once-Ler (2012), Minerva Orland, and Glenn Quagmire).
