Ashley is one of eight main protagonists from the 2015 Supermassive Games horror game, Until Dawn. She spends most of the game trying to survive and feeling remorseful for her role in the prank that led to Hannah and Beth's deaths.

What Do People Like About Her?[]
- Many people sympathize with Ash's fear as they feel like anyone in her situation would be freaking out about a serial killer stalking them and Wendigos attacking.
- Depending on player-choice, Ashley could be one of the few people who can display remorse for her role in the prank.
- Many people found the relationship between Ashley and Chris (if he didn't shoot at her in chapter 6) to be genuinely sweet, especially after she kisses him and tells him to come back safe.
- Due to how obnoxious many people felt Emily was throughout the game, some players end up trying to justify Ashley's overreaction to Emily's bite and (if Mike shoots her) argue that Ash only wanted her out of the bunker so she couldn't turn.
What Do People Hate About Her?[]
- Depending on player choice, if Chris shoots Ashley at the end of Chapter 6, Ash could leave Chris to die at the hands of the Wendigos. This is made even worse in the eyes of the fans if Chris previously points the gun at himself and Ash says she's willing to sacrifice herself, only for her to betray Chris and leave him to die in chapter 8 if he actually goes through with it.
- Also in chapter 8, there's Ash's reaction to Emily getting bit. While several fans argue that Ash only wanted her out of the safety bunker and didn't want her to die, other fans argue that by forcing her out of the bunker she was leaving her to die regardless. They also argue that Emily slapping Ashley felt justified.
- A lot of fans feel that her constant whining was obnoxious and got on their nerves.
- Because Until Dawn is a game dependent on player choice, many fans felt that Ash's sympathy regarding Hannah and Beth's death didn't feel genuine. Especially when Ashley's honesty meter goes down.
- Some people didn't like the remake tried to downplay her getting Chris killed, arguing that it takes her character's complexity by making it looks accidental and tries to make her too innocent.
